Sklandrauši

A traditional Kurzeme sklandrausis, palm-sized (10–12 cm across), from Saimniecība Ūši, Talsi region. The base is an unleavened rye dough, the filling is layered potato and carrot with butter, sour cream and sugar. Lightly sweet.
How to use
Eat cold, with tea or milk.
Bring along as a gift when visiting.
Put on the table at a gathering.
Ingredients: Carrots, potatoes, rye flour, water, sour cream, butter, eggs, semolina, sugar, salt.

Storage: +2 to +6 °C.
Shelf life: 3 days
