These Terms of Use (hereinafter – the Terms) set out how you may use the LaiksPirkt online marketplace (laikspirkt.lv), place orders and receive deliveries. Please read the Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Terms.

2. How the platform works
LaiksPirkt is a marketplace where small Latvian farms and producers (hereinafter – Producers) offer their products.
- The seller of each product is the respective Producer. The Producer's name is shown on the product page and in the producer profile.
- LaiksPirkt operates the platform, accepts orders and payments on behalf of the Producers, assembles orders and provides delivery, and also handles customer questions and claims.
- The Producer is responsible for the quality, safety and composition of the product and for providing accurate information about it.
One order may contain products from several Producers. In that case a purchase contract is concluded with each Producer for their products, but you can resolve all questions with LaiksPirkt as a single point of contact.
3. Account and registration
- Orders can be placed by registered users. Please provide true and up-to-date information when registering.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.
- We may restrict or close an account if it is used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.
4. Products, prices and availability
- Product prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include all applicable taxes.
- Many products are made by Producers only to order and in limited quantities. Product availability and delivery days are shown on the product page.
- Product images are illustrative. The size, colour and shape of natural products may vary slightly.
- If a product cannot be prepared (for example, due to weather or harvest conditions), we will inform you and refund the amount paid for that product.
5. Placing an order
- Add products to the cart and proceed to checkout.
- Enter the delivery address and choose the delivery day and payment method.
- Review and confirm the order. We will send a confirmation to your e-mail.
The minimum order amount is 20 €. The contract is deemed concluded when the order is confirmed (and, if online payment or prepayment is chosen, when payment is received).
6. Payment
Available payment methods:
- cash on delivery;
- payment card online;
- bonuses – up to 10% of the order amount;
- account deposit (wallet) balance.
Express delivery requires 100% prepayment. Card payments are processed by a licensed payment service provider; we do not store your card details.
7. Delivery
- We deliver in Riga and nearby towns.
- The delivery days for each product are shown on the product page. The delivery price is shown at checkout, before you confirm the order.
- Please make sure someone can accept the order at the agreed time. If delivery fails for reasons on your side, we will contact you about redelivery; for quickly perishable products redelivery may not be possible.
- Risk in the goods passes to you when they are handed over to you or to a person you have designated.
8. Accepting goods and claims
Please check the goods in the presence of the courier. If you find a discrepancy (missing item, damaged packaging, wrong product), inform the courier and us. Quality claims are accepted by phone at +371 22117788 within the product's shelf life. Claims are reviewed within 2 working days. More details in the Return Policy.
9. Right of withdrawal
A consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law and the Cabinet of Ministers regulations on distance contracts. The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- goods that deteriorate quickly or have a short shelf life (for example, fresh dairy and meat products, bread, eggs, fresh vegetables and berries);
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
- goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

10. Bonus programme
- After the order is delivered, bonuses equal to 5% of the products total are credited to your account.
- 1 bonus = 1 €. Bonuses can cover up to 10% of the order amount.
- Bonuses are valid for 12 months from the date they are credited.

11. Liability
The Producer is responsible for the quality of the product and its conformity with the contract. LaiksPirkt is responsible for the operation of the platform, order processing and delivery. Nothing in these Terms limits the consumer's statutory rights, including the right to have a lack of conformity remedied free of charge.
We are not liable for losses caused by force majeure or by the user providing false information.

13. Dispute resolution
We first try to resolve any disagreement through negotiation – write to info@laikspirkt.lv. If an agreement cannot be reached, you have the right to turn to:
- the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC), Brīvības iela 55, Riga, www.ptac.gov.lv;
- the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission;
- the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr;
- a court in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
14. Final provisions
