The motto of SIA Cietais rieksts - garden goodness all year round! In 2005 the Krūzkops family started out in fruit growing, managing a blackcurrant plantation and planting sea buckthorn. At first all the berries were sold fresh, but with the first sea buckthorn harvest came the need for freezers. As the business expanded, the range slowly grew too - frozen berries, frozen mushrooms, other gifts of nature and products made from them - juices, sorbets, teas, dried berries and ground berries. The farm offers only gifts of nature grown in Latvia. In 2014 the farm received the Burtnieki municipality annual award in the "Novelty of the Year" category. In 2019 the company was recognised in the Burtnieki municipality entrepreneurs' annual awards in the "Entrepreneur of the Year 2019" category. In 2020, in the Latvian food taste competition organised by Novada garša, the company's marinated chanterelles received a GOLD rating. What matters most to the company is the user - the customer and their wishes. To meet customers' needs ever better, the range is expanded every year with garden and wild berries and garden produce available in Latvia. Treats can be packed to customers' wishes.
